end of play exit vob&mpg player

Any suggestions on how to get powerdvd or windvd or any other
vob/mpg player to play a file associated with player then exit
when done?

Tried to use zoom player but it will not work with dual output video/tv cards.

Just want a desktop of filename that I can click to play,
then play in full screen the go back to desktop without
the player still up waiting for play command again.

Look for comand line switches
For example you can configure avi playback in mplayer2:
mplayer2.exe /fullscreen /play /close path/file.avi
