It looks like that you face the same problem with me.. I'm still figuring it out.. I thought because of the UDF file format, but I've try installed Incd UDF on WinME, it still give me the same error... Anybody out there can help us?

I also have this problem... have tried reinstalling powerdvd, direct X etc.. nothing seems to work.. other movies such as my vcd's and divx still play using pDVD. The only other thing i could think of is i recently installed a number of programs incl. realone, windows media player and roxio cd creator 5 don't know if there would be a clash with these?? If anyone has any ideas on this one... i am stumped, please help!!!

It is not a problem just with Power DVD XP, as i tried to play dvd's using windvd and also zoomplayer but none would play them.... i read on another forum that someone had to format their hard drive to get rid of this problem, but this is a last resort for me, so if anyone has any ideas on this one, please help???

I have the same problem. But I do have a solution...well kind of...
I had the same problem and then quite by chance I got a friends WinDVD software... he told me to try it out.

IT WORKED!!! I can play DVD's again.

I've tried to rip stuff.... unfortunately... none of the software I found on this website worked.

I hope that was of help to you.
