    still capture from DVD

Hey there....perhaps someone has some insight here.
I'm trying to capture a series of still images from a DVD. I have WinDVD which has a still capture feature by pressing "P" at anytime. I'm trying to capute stills at a high frame rate. The step function on WinDVD steps ahead at about 30 fps but when I capture a still at each step some stills are skewed and the images don't line up in order the way they should.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem or is there a program out there that will capture stills from a DVD at 30 fps? I'm using a PC and would rather not pay for a program if I don't have to.
    Thanks,
    Lucas

Holding down P does result in a series of consecutive frames, but the aren't captured at a consistent frame rate. It will capture a few stills, then play a little, then capture a few more, etc. When you line up all the stills and play them back at a static frame rate, the motion is jumbled and jerky. Any other ideas?
      Thanks.

Set your "Key Repeat" to a higher rate...
