ok i need to calm down, ive got the latest xcard drivers combined with a region free drive. my problem is this, zone selector doesnt recognise these new drivers and the guy who was programming it has stopped development of it any further. what alternatives do i have to de-regionalise and de-macrovision my xcard system?

The drivers don't seem to have changed much.
If you edit patches.txt, replacing every instance of
"151"
with
"151,166"
Zone selector should work with the new drivers. At the very least, it should start. I region selection also works, but I haven't tested it extensively.
