I have a Creative DVD rom, SBlive sound card and the EncoreDxr3 card that came with the drive. I have connected the aforementioned equipment to my projection tv and have ben very satisfied with the video and audio quality.
I've done a lot of reading on the net about regaining my Dolby Digital sound through use of a different sound card. I've read in several places that the Hercules Fortissimo 3 card could accomplish this. I bought the card. It came with PowerDVD PRO EX and several other software programs. I have yet to get the picture on the TV and Sound though my system at the same time.
Does anyone know how I can accomplish this task? I can get sound through the stereo if using PowerDVD or picture on the set usubf PC-DVD Player (creative). I'm open to any and all suggestions !!!!!!
