Hello!
I don`t know if this is the right place to ask this questin, but I`ll do it anyway...
I just bought the german dvd-release of "spider-man" and I was a little bit shocked to see mpeg compression artefacts, in the fantasic final scene, where spiderman rushes through the streets of new york. PowerDvd showed me, that the bitrate varies and is in those scenes only a few times higher than 5000-6000! Has anyone remarked that, too?
If it`s really like that .... it would be pritty idiotic to to encode a commercial dvd9 in such a way....
