I´ve a LiteOn LTD-163 DVD player.

So please let me know if there is any possibility to set it region-free.

I´ve taken a look on

There You can read that many (new) players let change the code 5 times before locking.

Is there any firmware-patch available ?

i have met other people that have set their
dvd drives into undefined status by not following
the instuctions. (unbelievable isn´t it)
