Hi. It's me again. I still haven't fixed my problem. I went to Intervideo Inc. to see what could be the problem. I found this thing called DMA that if it's not enabled in the properties of the DVD-ROM then that could affect the dvd performance. I couldn't find it on my dvd rom settings. I don't get that because my computer is brand new. Also I probably should've said this but the Intervideo WinDVD came with my computer, I didn't install it. So I was wondering if that could cause a problem. I was wondering if someone could tell me what I should do if the DMA isn't in the DVD-ROM properties. Also which sound is better, Digital or Analog? Please respond to me as soon as possible! Also I'd like to thank setarip for responding to me again.
Urgent! I need help with my dvd rom!!!!!!! Urgent!

Hey, thanks for replying to me again setarip. There's another problem. I can't access the WinDVD hardware acceleration. It doesn't let me or it's not there. I don't know. I don't know if there's a way to access it or not. So please reply to me as soon as possible if you know how to access it or if you have an alternate solution.Comment

My profuse apologies - I should have said "Hardware motion compensation". It's under "Properties", click on the "Display"tab. If it's unchecked, put a checkmark next to it. If it already has a checkmark next to it, uncheck it...
(You'll also find other "smoothing" settings there. If not already done, check all of them)Comment
