    another jumpy!

Hi everyone! Well, as you can see by the subject, I'm having a problem with my dvd-rom.
I installed my dvd-rom last saturday, and the result was terrible, very jumpy on the video and audio. I found this forum, and I got Power DVD, wich made things a lot better here. But there's still some jump on the video (not on the audio anymore). It's not so bizarre as before, but it's still very annoying. I read some posts here and followed some suggestions, as to put the IDE on DMA, and getting more free space on hd. But the problem continues. Some dvds play a little better than others (all original), but even the best ones still have a little jump. If anyone would have some suggestion to help me solve this problem, I'd thank you.
I have a pentium III 500, 256mb RAM, 4 gb of free space in hd, geforce 2 64mb, dvd-rom 16x, using windows XP professional.
(sorry for my bad english, I'm from Brazil)

Your system may be underpowered for dvd playback. Does this problem occur when you watch dvd's on full screen only?

No, it's not when it's full screen... small windows too...
Do you mean I should upgrade to pentium 4? is that the reason of the problem?

What is the cpu load when you try to play dvd's? If it is abnormally high, you can try reducing the screen resolution, turn off non-essential applications etc.
