PowerDVD4.0 - Error Code F4D41436

Hi guys,

I have ATI Radeon video card. Same problem with code F4D41436. Anybody know where to get dvd decoder patch for this card? I checked ati.amd.com and downloaded there but didn't help. Thanks.

Hi there,

Am new to the forums, and to the error code :/

I've been watching all my dvds fine, and I had updated all my driveres a long time ago, but recently I received the dreaded f4d4 error >.<

I did a search an turned up this forum, tried a few of the remedies, save the slyfox, and nothing worked.

Im using powerdvd 3.0, and there is a patch for that, but it does not seem to remedy my problem either :/

Short of attempting the slyfox software, or downloading another dvd player, media player sux and so does DivX player for me, I was hoping someone else has solved this situation without resorting to any of that.

A search for power dvd 3.0 with the error codes turns up power dvd 4.0 along with the code, and leads me here, so this is where my trail leads me.

Thanx and I hope someone has the same problem as me .... so we can solve it together that is, not so they cant watch dvds ^^

Got a DVD drive for the 13 yr old's PC so she can watch DVDs. The 810 drivers did the trick for my TV out error (F4D41436) on PowerDVD 4.
