MP3 on DVD

Hey,

I've been trying to burn an MP3 DVD compilation to play on a Philips DVDR880 or Pioneer DV-656A player. I've burned several times (on RW disc) using both Nero 6 and Roxio 6 but every time the players fail to read the disc. I've burnt as an MP3 disk and data disk with and without playlist files but every time I get unrecognised data or can't read\play disk error.

Is it possible to make an MP3 compilation on DVD to play on these players, I get the feeling that when they detect a DVD disc they expect it to be a movie, MP3 CD's work perfectly.

Anyone got any suggestions?

That appears to be the case presently. You might want to do a Googlesearch for (one line, include the quotation marks)
