standalone dvd player emulator?

It seems that 1 out of every couple discs I try to backup they won't play on my ps2 or samsung standalone player. Is there such software that emulates or mimics these devices so I don't have to waste more money burning unreadable discs. My computer will read almost anything, so all that really tells me that theres a chance it will work

You can create an image file using Imgtool Burn (or Nero), mount it using Daemon Tools virtual drive utility and play it on any software player like PowerDVD, WINdvd, VideoLan, nplayer, etc.
