    No Sound by playing DVD

    Hallo,
I have tried to play Original-DVD with NEC-ND 1300 - DVD-Writer on Nero Showtime or Elecard-Player or any other Player:
Video works well, but I cannot get any Sound.
I have installed AC3-Filter and many other Video and Audio-Codecs.
Other Formats such as Avi or mpeg are playing well and I get sound.
is there anybody who can tell me, what is missing or what is wrong ?

From the DVD menu, try selecting the SECOND audiostream (The first is probably in DTS format)...

      Hallo Setarip,
how can I do this ?
In the DVD-Main-menue I can only select the languages and if it's 2-channel stereo or dolby suround.
Where can I find the selection of audio-streams ?

"In the DVD-Main-menue I can only select the languages and if it's 2-channel stereo or dolby suround."

I was referring to the "Languages" when I spoke of "audiostreams".

Based on what you've indicated, my speculation about a DTS audiostream/language was incorrect - and either the 2-channel stereo or dolby surround should generate sound.

I'd suggest that you try a more "standard" software DVD player, such as WinDVD or PowerDVD.

Also, play the DVD on a standalone DVD player hooked up to a television, just to make sure the DVD is not flawed...

Just curious - What is this DVD that has only two audio choices?
