Is your desire to create a burned DVD, VideoCD ("VCD" - for playback on a standalone DVD player/television setup), Super VideoCD ("SVCD" - for playback on a standalone DVD player/television setup), MPEG-1 (for PC-only playback), or MPEG-2 (for PC-only playback)?

Use DVD Shrink v.3.0beta5, in "Re-author" mode, to read the DVds and create your clips in DVD "packages".

Then use "TMPGEnc DVD Author" (different than "TMPGEnc") to easily create a DVD with both chapters and a menu...

Are the DVDs that you're trying to read with DVD Shrink v.3.0beta5 original commercial DVDs? If not, how were they created?
