Dvd region confusion
i purchased a region 2 dvd, and living in australia can only play region 4 normally.
So i downloaded the region free tools (DVD Region Killer v2.5, DVDGenie, DVD Region Free) and i had the dvd working temporarily. But i closed down DVD region free while playing the DVD and the video became all jumbled etc so i turned it off.
Now whenever i try to play the dvd in PowerDVD (used it the whole time) i get this error msg (which i had in the beginning before downloading the region free tools) and now i cant get rid of it.
error message:
This region code does not match the DVD-ROM's region designation.
The region code of the DVD-ROM drive has been fixed. Only discs that support this region can be played.
whats going on? i had it working!!
is it something to do with DMA?
