    Dvd Region Free ?

    Hi

    I have a Dell Laptop with a DVD-RW 4x Burner .

    I bought my Dell Laptop in Europe , Now I m going to USA for a few month .

    The problem is that I can only watch DVDs from Europe , but I want to watch to DVDs in USA .

    So does anyone of you now the Programm DVD Region Free ? Can I get any problems on my Laptop if I install it on my system ?

    Do you use DVD Region Free , does it work good ?

      I have used DVDRegion Free on one of my old systems without ever having any troubles

        DVD Genie only overcomes region protection in software players. It only works if you have flashed region-free firmware to your drive first.

          Oh okay

          so that means that DVD REGION FREE would be the right programm for me ?

          I hope that it works on my dell laptop!

            Should do -- but try the demo before you fork out money!

            PS -- An alternative is "Remote Selector". This is a lot cheaper, has been around longer and has a demo version as well.

                should be easy.. you know which dvd's asked you to change regions before don't you... if the program works correct it will not ask you that but will automatically starts playing

                  AnyDVD Vs DVD RegionFree

                  Some Users say ANYDVD is better as DVD Region Free .
                  and other say
                  DVD REGION FREE is better as ANYDVD .

                  Does anyone now what is better ?

                  Some people try to explain, in a forum what programm
                  (DVD Region Free VS AnyDVD ) is better , my english is not the best , maybe someone here in the forum can read it and let me now which programm is better and why !

                    I think it all depends on your system which program, AnyDVD or DVD Region Free is best. I personally have tried both programs and DVD Region Free kept freezing up my system. I now use AnyDVD and have had no problems at all. I have WinDVD 4 on my computer. Hope this helps.

                      Have you worked with DVD Region Free to on WinDVD 4 ?

                      I installed yesterday the DVD Region Free Trial Version its works , on my PC with win2000.
                      I have not tryd it yet on my new PC with winxp pro .


                      Does anyone now if I have Installed DVD REGION FREE and DVD Shrink if it works good ?

                      And do I get a better result in anyway with DVD REGION FREE and DVD Shrink on the same PC `?
