dts playback help

I payed alot of money to find out that i can not play my favorite discs eg; (QUEENS GREATEST VIDIO HITS) with 5.1 surround sound because it supports the dts format. I have the Panasonic sa ht70 model multidisc DVD Player. The question i am asking is; Is there any way i can add a decoder to play dts dvd discs with sound on my player?. It will playback in stereo but i would love to hear it in 5.1 surround.

The fact that it includes a DTS audio track doesn't mean that it doesn't also include a 5.1 track (and, perhaps, an LPCM stereo track as well). Have you tried selecting different audio tracks from the menu or with your remote control?

I suggest you try pressing the language button on your remote if you have one. This will select different audio outputs.
