windows media player 9 and nero

    Hello all,

I have a small big problem. I can watch my DVDs with windows media player 9 normally, but when I install Nero 6.0, I cannot anymore. A Nero plugin gets installed in windows media player and I cannot play my DVDs anymore. If I uninstall Nero then I can watch them again.

You have any suggestions bcoz I need Nero to record my CDs and DVDs.

    Thank you.

    Fernando.

Nero ver 6 is very flawed. I suggest an upgrade ASAP.

But I need it to record DVDs and CDs!!

What other program do you suggest then to record DVDs, or what could be done to fix this problem of WMP and Nero?

      Thank you.

If you are using Nero 6.0.0.0 I gather there's an upgrade on Ahead's website?
This isn't a learning curve ... this is b****y mountaineering!

using nero 6.0.0.28 here and no problems using Win Med Player 9, but I prefer to view DVDs on my computer using Show Time inside of Nero 6, works great.

When I try to watch DVD on show time ínside nero 6 it tells me that I need a plug-in (it says "s plug-in" or "DVD plug-in")
do you know what to do?
              thanx in advance.
