    Playing .img file

    Heya ppl,

I have a backup of a dvd on a .img file… is there anyway to mount a virtual image of the file and play it rather than burning to a dvd disk?
    Thanks

    Imgtool should do the trick!
This isn't a learning curve ... this is b****y mountaineering!

Try using Daemon Tools. That is what I use to see if my image file is good enough to burn. It has saved me alot of DVD's. When you play it, it will play just like it was in your drive with all menus and extras that is if your image file was created correctly. Try just looking up Daemon Tools or I found a link for it on DVD decrypter page. I have watch several movies as image files on my computer after I have already returned the movie (with no late fees).
        Good luck!

...or you can use iso buster to open the image and extract its contents.
