DOwnloaded a movie in XVid format with AC3 (6Channel sound). It was on two discs, so I reauthored the movie onto on DVD-r. Now, When the movie is played from the HDD on my PC, it is fine, no probs, When it is played from A DVD-r on my laptop, that is also OK no Probs, but when It is on the DVD, it freezes and jumps. I am not using any different type of discs. I am wondering if it is something to do with the Xvid encoding?
I ran it through TmepEngc and made it into a DVD compluiant file at 23.957fps, then remuxed the ac3 sound out of it. Made it into a DVD using TmpegDVD, then joined the two lots of vobs together, used IFOEdit for the ifo's and burnt using nero? Not tried this before, so, I am up to any suggestions on what I could do to make it work better?
Cheers
