Ritz Camera DVD won't play

My relatives sent a DVD produced by Ritz Camera of transferred super 8 video. Will not play in my home dvd (panasonic s35) or in my pc (sony dw-U10A and DDU1612 dvd drives). XP does not recognize - disc info says "RAW" file system and nothing else. Tried Power DVD, Nero player, windows media...

Relatives claim it plays fine at home. They also have zero computer knowledge so don't know anything about format. Contacting Ritz online was not helpful.

Have you tried using a program such as DVD Decrypter or SmartRipper to copy the ENTIRE DVD to your hard drive - as a first step toward creating a playable copy?
