    Surround with powerdvd?

I have now got a laptop with 2 speakers. It's nice watching dvd's but i was wondering how superb it must be, having a surround system all around.

I'm looking forward to buy the Logitech SoundMan Xtrusio DSR-100 speakers:

and was wondering if true surround will be on it or if I'll just have 4 speakers blaring out the same thing all at the same time... with a powerful subwhoofer to chear me up.

My question is... will I fell the aeroplans of pearl harbor fly from behind to front, or only from left to right as i already hear with my 2 speakers?

powerdvd is able to separate sound but will it depend aswell on my sound card? I have a

AC-97 V2.1Codec -Full duplex support -3D Sound -Hardware volume (Rotary Type) -Built-in mono microphone and stereo

    Thanks for a reply!

    Cheers

The trick with doing this is simple.
First you have your computer (windows 98 or XP or ME) set to desktop speakers!! Set this from desktop to surround sound or just play with it for best resultts. I have Power DVD 4.0 and that's the trick for XP. As well as other former versions. Where XP misses the mark is video.
