Macrovision hacks have nothing to do with region-free hacks.

Infact lately i useed a H*** to change the region and it worked but the player still had another protection which did not allow the owner to fully H*** the player and make it region free .Now i'm left with only 2 other tries currently it is set to region 2 from region 1.

I have read the "rules" page you linked very closely and nowhere are the words "hacks and illegal codes" mentioned. Indeed, neither I nor the original poster used those words. Please state the number of the rule that you claim has been breached.

I read these rules 2 years ago when I joined this forum. I have since offered help to members in this section many times in overcoming region-protection in PC DVD ROM drives. I am sure if information I have given breached the rules a moderator would have intervened. Giving such help is perfectly legitimate and this site has extensive sections devoted to helping people overcome region-protection in DVD ROM drives, MPEG cards and standalone players -- see here, for instance:

I suggest you read those sections. Then you won't make the mistake of telling a poster who is asking about a standalone DVD player to use PC-type software to overcome its region-protection!

Sometimes to overcome region-protection on standalone dvd players require hacking into hadrware which is not permitted from manufacturers. Thats want i intented, no mistake at all.

If you insist on that ,its ok i don;t realy mind after all if you need help on hacks use that e-mail and if you need further help just ask

Even consoles that are able to playback dvd's have similar problems.

region menu appears
press down button until "0" appears

Repeat procedure 1-5 times
