B/W on PS2..?

I recently bought Finding Nemo from the States (we're in the UK)for my son for his birthday. As we do not have a Multi-region dvd player I used DVD Shrink / DVD region free to make it Multi-region......

I watched it on my daughters X-box and it was fine but when my son watched it on his birthday on his PS2 it was in Black and White...... Poor little bloke, he looked really cheesed off!

I also tried converting it to Region 2 only but it was still B/W.

Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

God I hate that fish.

Think it needs to be converted NTSC to PAL

Can the TV handle NTSC & PAL?

We've tried swapping TV's around and it still plays in black & white.
Strange how it works on the Xbox but not the PS2...??
I thought that if it was made multi-region it would accept both PAL and NTSC.

There may be a setting on the PS2 that needs to be changed but I haven't got the foggiest.
