I need some help...
I have succesfully burned/played dvd-5 to one dvd-r (easy).
Now, I've gone through all the steps in the guide for burning dvd-9 to one dvd-r using DVD Shrink. They all appear to have completed without any problems.
The DVD will play just fine on my dvd drive (using windows media player), but when I put it in my standalone (which happens to be a Playstation 2), it doesn't even open. The player doesn't even show that there is a disc inside. I know that these specific discs (brand and model) work in the PS2 as the person who introduced me to them and this guide use the same EVERYTHING!
Is there a step I might be missing? I ripped the file with DVD Decrypter and then opened it with DVD Shrink, encoded it, then burned it with DVD Shrink/Nero (the auto burn option available with nero). WHAT AM I MISSING?
Also, I noticed that my copy of American Wedding wouldn't even start the encoding process if I open it straight out of DVD Shrink...I HAVE to rip if with DVD Decrypter first, then open the files. Is there options on Decrypter that remove certain protections that the decrypter on DVD Shrink doesn't include?
It sure would be easy to do it all with one program!!
Thank you for ANY help/tips you can provide!!
