Cyberhome 512 Help (mesage scrolls in background)

Hi I get a scrolling mesage in the background part of it says new york this mesage scrolls from left to right whether there is a dvd in or out it scrolls all the time any idea how to deactivate this its so anoying.

Its not coming from other equipment fault move when you plug it in another tv
