Mat****a SR-8175 (kinda clueless)

I have a Mat****a SR-8175 (driver version 5.1.2535.0, if that's of any consequence). I have discovered on various sites for region-free software downloads that the software will not crack this series of DVD drives.

Someone suggested DVD Genie, but someone else told me it would not work.

Any suggestions on where to begin? ...and then where to go after that?

M-a-t-a-s-h-i-t-a isn't the only brand that does not allow <region free > it has a built in protection ,therfore most of the software you are trying to use for region free will fail in operating properly.

1>Tell me which software are you using for playback.

2>Suggest to use players like win dvd or power dvd (latest versions if possible)
