Freezes

hello,
im using DVDIdle Pro latest version with WinDVD 5.0 to play a Region 2 DVD on a Region 4 Drive, the video either does not start or stars sluggish and then it goes into the Initial Screen, but when i press the button to play the movie it completely freezes, it also happened with another DVD, this time Region 1 on the same DVD Player...
can anyone help me?

Back-up the dvd (and set back-up as region-free).

I cant back it up, because since it does not play, i cant copy (rip) it into my hard disk............

Use DVD Decrypter to "rip" the DVD to your hard drive in "File" mode - and from the "Edit" dropdown menu, select "All files" (NOT "movie files"). DVD Decrypter can rip "other region" DVDs...

I used Dvd Decrypter and it displayed an error message that read "Media Region Code is mismatched to logical unit region!
The slower Brute Force VOBDec/DeCSSplus cracking methods will be used instead of I/O Key Exchange" but when i start decrypting it displays another error message that says I/O error, and that Media Region Code is mismatched to logical unit region.....
still wont work............
can anyone help me?
