Power Director 3.0 help

I am using Power Director 3.0 by Cyberlink what came with my Radeon 9800 XT card.

I plugged my Panasonic NV-GS5 digi camera into the adapter that came with my Radeon card via an S-Video lead.
Problem is when i play the camera tape it plays fine in Power Director pro but i do not get any audio.

I have tried changing the audio settings and also tried opening up and unmuting my audigy2 soundcard settings so they are all turned on in winxp.

Should i get sound included in S-Video?

If i need to have a further source for my sound where do i plug it into?

My camera is also DV but im not sure how to use that yet... the adapter which came with my Radeon 9800XT card has S-Video in/out and Composite Video in/out only...

Any suggestions? Thanks...

Do not unmute the soundcard, instead try connecting your camera with the soundcard.Make sure that you have set everything well.
