I've got some kind of codec issue going on here - it started when I d/l the latest PowerDVD. DVDs w/ AC3 won't play properly - no audio or stuttering audio. Everything else plays ok. This happens in most DVD player apps (WinDVD, PowerDVD, Nero Showtime, WMP). I d/l the SourceForge AC3 filter as well, but the same thing happened.
I d/l "Media Player Classic" from SourceForge and everything plays great, so I think I'm having trouble w/ the codecs being used by the other apps. Is there a way to find out what codec may be causing the problems and / or direct the other apps not to use it? Thanks for any help or other ideas!
