Question. How to Record Windvd Output

Does anyone know of a way to record
the output of windvd
What I want is to capture bits of my dvd collection
which I have recorded

I have a database and a prog I wrote to search and display stills
of the Dvds,but I would like to make tiny clips and incorporate
them.

I have tried Camtasia (Now you know what I am talking about)
but they say turn off Hardware acceleration and it doesnt work
I am amazed that I cant find something to do this

Use MPEGCutter v.1.5 or ChopperXP directly (Absolutely no need to use WinDVD for this purpose)...
