DVD Profiler site down?

Hey! That was precisely the reason I came to this site! I've been trying to access for a few days with no luck at all. Any news is right... this was one of my favorite programs. I'd even be willing to pay to upgrade if it meant being able to add to my list!

Concerned about DVD Profiler

We are all getting very concerned about DVD Profiler! Their site has been down for days. Does anyone know what happened? Did Intervocatove Software go out of business or are they just having extreme technical difficulties? Any news at all would help put our mind at ease. Let's not lose this valuable resource.

Looks to me like it's something more serious than maintenance. Are there any other cataloging programs out there that could serve as a substitute?

I have only used it for a few months and this is the first time it has gone down. From the looks of it, the whole site is now up and running. Fingers crossed that this was the last time

What do you use dvd profiler for

I use it to catalog my DVD collection. I love the fact that I can mark if a movie gets loaned out and track movies on a wish list. It also gives me a list of easter eggs if they exist. Some features aren't of much use to me but the rest is well worth the price (free).

You can enter the UPC number (found under the bar code) of any (almost) DVD and add it to your collection list. It automatically downloads the movie's information from it's list including actors, director, ratings, etc...

You can print out your list of movies and take the info with you when you buy movies, so you don't duplicate. Or give the list to friends you lend movies to so they know whats available to borrow and the can see what they've already borrowed.

Many features. Great program. FREE!!! Yeah, baby!
