I use my PC as my DVD player and use Windvd 5. When I use tv-out on my Gfx card I set it to PAL or NTSC depending on the DVD I play but the refresh rate is always 60Hz for the tv output. What I am wondering is why I dont have a problem with the PAL tv-out as I thought this should be 50hz and I figured it would skip frames frequently.
My second question relates to my TV capture, I record programs from the tv onto either a dvd or my HD but there is ghosting with the TV image whenever a movement is too quick. Is this normal or do I have a problem. I use a wintv capture card.
