    Help Me Please!!!!!!

I am having a huge problem! I am using PowerDVD as my PC-DVD player. When I first got a DVD player, everything worked fine. I could play movies, access special features, everything! Just recently, I tried playing the movie 'Holes' after all of the previews, it came to the part where you selected play, or chapter selecection, or special features, and all that. All of a sudden, the whole screen turns purple, with little green lines flashing throught it! What's wrong! I thought it was the DVD. On my player, i can click resume, and it'll play the dvd. I can't read any of the special features though! I then tried watching my other DVD. All of them do that now! I even reinstalled PowerDVD. It still does it! I also reinstalled interactual player which i installed from the harry potter dvd. What's wrong? How can i fix it? I doubt you guys can help. I've tried everywhere! Noone can help me! I feel so defeated!!

Please! Someone has to know something about this!!
Even my DVD player manufacturer says they never heard of that before!

    Please Help!!
    Kevin

    1) Check to see if your videocard is securely seated

    2) Your system may be overheating

You know, now that you mention it, i just recently took my computer out of the holder, to install a new modem! My video card may have slightly came unplugged. But why am i able to view the movie, if i select 'resume' on the powerDVD panel? It only screws up when the DVD asks me a question, like to play, or to select special features.

I'll make sure my video card is fastened correctly.

      Thanks,
      Kevin

The video card is securely seated. I'm thinking maybe it's my memory? Could that be the problem? I really need help here! I don't know what to do? Could it be my DVD player?

        Please Help

"2) Your system may be overheating"

Have you detrmined whether this may be the case?

If your system is NOT overheating, you might want to try using WinDVD for playback, rather than PowerDVD...

I don't think it's overheating. How would i find out? Anyway, I will try WinDVD. Is there anywhere i can get it for free? I'd like to just try it out, then, if it works, i will buy it.

              Thanks

What if i upgrade my PowerDVD? Maybe it's faulty. I've already tried reinstalling it. Should i try upgrading it?
