Coby dvd 915 region free needed

This is the thing, I went to Miami and I bought this DVD player and had no idea it was only region 1. So now, I am in Buenos Aires where everything is region 4!!! so I cannot return it and I need to make this player a multiregion or just change the region to 4 so I can view my dvds

Search on Google for a "DVD region hack" for your model. If available for your model, you will be able to change the region settings with a specific combination of key strokes on the remote.

It has a hack for the Coby 202, as follows:

1-turn on
2-open/close open/close open
3-enter 0100
4-Appears R9 on the screen
5-Still nothing try 0101 instead of 0100

Try that. It might work on your model, too. If not, search this forums for others, or give Google a whirl. Hope this helps.

I will try that one, but I doubt that it works.... there are many diff coby models with diff methods. I also know that Coby is the same machine as another very known brand, but I don't know which and it has the same codes to change the region. Maybe if someone can help me in telling me which brand/machine is the one "similar" to this one it will be of great help!

other dvd models of the same brand.But right now there isn't any
dvd hack compatible with your dvd player.

Don't even think about it.

Eventually there is an alternative method you can try this software Region X but it does not always work.

Most dvd rental retaliers hve it.

The software is designed for pc's but since it worked on p2 it might fix your problem.

Yes thats it,it eighter works or not.won't damge your player i've tried it several times.
