TMPGEnc question!! PLLEEEAASE

I downloaded the TMPGEnc and when i try to open a file to convert, it says illegal stream format! my files are in avi format.... what is going wrong?? Pls Help Thanks

What format of audiostream does the .AVI contain?

Which video codec was used to create the .AVI?

I don't have a clue about the questions u asked..... I downloaded these avi files off of the internet.

From within Explorer, righclick on the filename. Select "Properties". Click on the "Details" tab. Post here the information that appears...
