Problems with Playback : Please help!
Hi,
I recently had to wipe my hard drive because of a virus but now i have got evrything back up and running, that is everything but my dvd player. Everytime i try to play a dvd on any type of player like DivX or winDVD it comes up with the error msg "create overlay failed. PLease lower your screen resolution or colour deptha dn try again." i have tried every possible combination and nothing seems to work. I don't know whether it is something to do with my monitor or wht is wrong. I've installed directX 9 but whenever i run dxdiag on the display tab in the directX features box all the features are not available. PLease help as it is now causing major headaches! i have a Nokia447xav monitor if that helps at all. PLease don't hesitate to contact me with any information you can offer to help me.
