No audio

hi guys, just wondering if anyone can help.
i've just installed the trial version of PowerDVD 5, as I want to replace WinDVD 3 which i have been using for years.
when trying to watch any dvd using PowerDVD, there is no audio. The video displays fine.
when I try and watch using Windows Media Player, everything is fine.
anyone got any ideas?

Did you first un-install WinDVD 3 before installing PowerDVD 5?

You might want to check for a "patch" for the version of PowerDVD that you've downloaded...

(And, if WinDVD3 works for you, why bother switching? Not everything newer is better ;>})
