Region Free with HP 9900 Combo Cd-rw DVD

I have an HP 9900 combo CD-RW DVD drive and I don't succeed to make work any regiond dvd free software (dvdidle pro, anydvd, dvdregion killer...).
The change zone screen still appear in winDVD or PowerDVD or the player is unable to play the disc.
What can I do ? Do I have other way than patching my firmware ?

      -Lock Detected
-Region Setting Status : Not Permanent

I don't understand what I must do with your program : It says I haven't selected the source file. Then my dvd drive in discinfo appeared as RICOH Program Loader 61.13 and I was unable to open it but it was displayed NO REGION PROTECTION. I have restart my computer. I tried play a zone 1 DVD (I'm in zone 2) and it ask my to change the zone. Then I reinstall region killer, reboot my computer. Now Region Killer appears to work because his icone wasn't red as usual. But when I tried to play the DVD it start and stop immediatly or he plays whithout image and sound. But he didn't ask me to change the region.
I tried AnyDVD because I thunk it was because of RegionKiller but now my drive appears to be region locked (whithout any software running).

Now it's ok. It was just because of the software HP DLA. Now I CAN (not I can't) read zone 1 DVD with AnyDVD (doesn't work with dvdIdle Pro).

edit : I would like to say I can and not I can't, sorry.
