    can't play my beloved dvd's!!

    hi
    i'm very computer illiterate, and i'm very glad i stumbled across this forum.
    i encountered a problem with my PowerDVD player, an error message about a TV out put thing. and i read how to fix it here... but as i am computer illiterate, id ont' think i did a good job ><;;
    i downloaded an older version of Nvidia, but when i downloaded it, it just... dissapeared so i dont' know where it went.
    so then i attempted to download other DVD players for free, like "advancedDVD player", which didn't work
    and "Blaze Player", which did work, but has a 10minute limit.

    can anyone tell me how to find the nvidia drivers? or if they know of any free DVD players that will work?

    thanks!

    "i encountered a problem with my PowerDVD player"

    Did PowerDVD work prior to when you started having problems?

      my powerdvd worked before
      i played my dvd's there before
      then i started getting the error. and now when i put the dvds i had before in it, it doens' work.

      i had recently changed the DVD setting from the western setting to the Asian setting
      but i had changed it back
      and since then, it hasn't worked

        Uninstall then reinstall PowerDVD.

            "it came on my computer when i bought it."

            Are you saying you did not have a backup CD with the installed software? I would contact the manufacturer of your computer system and complain heavily.
