Toshiba & LG multi-region DVD Player converter

Does anyone know of codes to convert either Toshiba SD2600 or LG V692 WK players to region-free? Specific coding to Region 4 is illegal under Section 92 of our Australian Constitution as a restrictive trade practice, but the Govt is disinclined to take on the powerful US multinationals. Some of our university & school classes who use these Region 4 machines are having no end of trouble trying to play teaching materials from other regions, with a consequent educational loss to the students.

Any help for either of the above would be much appreciated. Thanks.
