dvd freezing

I have copied a number of dvds that have worked fine, but lately it seems when i copy a dvd it works fine for about 85% of the movie then it starts to skip, then it freezes and will not continue. I rip the movie using shrink (reauthor) and burn it with nero ver.6. I have a pioneer dvd that reads dvdr. IS there a quick fix or is there something that i am doing incorrect when burning? I have no mulitsession, and check the box that says force x box compatability. Any suggestions would be nice

That's virtually ALWAYS a sign of poor quality media. Try using Ritek, Ridata, or Verbatim...

sounds like media. check www.videohelp.com/dvdwriters for your brand. Have you started a new batch? They can vary.
You can check the physical burn with the free DVDInfoPro and if it is failing at the top end, reducing target size might be a workround for this batch.
