brief pixelated images during playback

hey guys!
just burnt some dvds with som fuji dvd+r media...worked good with my old cyberhome chdvd300 but then the player died so i bought a coby dvd224....
while watchin a movie that i burned, i notice sometimes the images would slow down..or get pixelated for a brief second or two and then back to normal...i rewind the dvd to see if my copy is bad, but when i play the same sequence again, they were okay again.........this happened around 2-3 times during the whole movie...
i dont know if this is a media problem or my dvdplayer problem...did anyone experience the same problem? should i try different media? i dont feel like burning all my movies over with different dvdr discs...

Run on a CRC error check on the disc that seem to pixelate with a program called DVDINFROPro which can be downloaded at the bottom of my post. It is very well possible that your DVD Player does not like that brand of media.

hey thanks, i will download it on my pc right away..
i have one more question, if my dvd player does not like that brand of media...can i continue playing that brand of disc on my dvd player without damaging the laser? or should i reburn everything on a different media? i know for ps2 if you use a bad media it might do that to the laser...

It will over time ruin the DVD player overall as it puts more and more stress on it. If you buy bad media, it doesn't necessarily mean that every disc is bad. Re-burning is up to you.
