Certain movies only play on xbox

Came across a weird problem, I burned studio 54 and it wont play on my stand alone player but will play in my xbox and some history channel documentary dvds do the same thing, any ideas?

Only thing is I have tons of other movies on the same media that play fine, its just these particular movies. the media is prodisk DVD-R. Just wanted to make sure it isnt something I did wrong
