choppy playback @ end of movie

Was wondering if anyone could offer any advice....I can backup/burn DVDs just fine. The problem is when I put them in my standalone player. It goes along dandy until about the last 1/4th of the movie, then it's choppy/jerky/stuck, etc. Like it's been scratched. I do not use labels, have used the DVD Info and got all green blocks. I don't know what else to do! Some movies are worse than others, but I don't know why! Do I need to change media? Or burn slower? I usually burn at 6X, what the auto speed is.

    Thanks in advance!

First I would try a remedy that doesn't cost you anything but maybe alittle more time. Burning slower. If that doesn't fix it, try a different reputable brand of media, such as Ritek Ridata.

i agree with jmet, sounds like a classic case of burning to fast. it's even worse with poor media.
