    welcome to the forum.

this is for the "Samsung HT-DB300" (in hope that it's close enough & may work on your model) :

    1. Open tray and remove any disks in tray.
    2. Close tray.
    3. Switch Off Player and Unplug from mains wait 30 seconds (this clears RAM)
    4. Reconnect to mains
    5. Turn on player with remote.
    6. Press ENTER on remote.
    5. Press 8, 4, 2, 6, 9.
    7. Press ENTER on remote. (The tray will open)
    8. Switch off power from remote, then switch back on.

your model must be still very new & may take a while before somebody lists the hack for it.
hope the above works for you.

      Experi-Mentor,

thank you so much for your support to a newbi like me!

I just tried it out: for the HT-DB350 there was only one change: If in step 7 you press ENTER on the remote, the tray is not opening but the Player switches off on its own.

I only found the HT-DB350 on chinese websites. So it seems to be a model only for this market. When I asked the German Samsung-Support for a German or English manual, they sent me a manual for the HT-DB300 and the description was about the 350 I bought here.

I again thank you very much! You can't believe, what stupid replys I got in other forums... Wish you all the best for the lunar new year which is actually celebrated where I (temporarily) live with plenty of fireworks!

      Best regards!

you're most welcome. at least we gave it a try.

thank you, & the same good wishes for the lunar new year to you also.

btw. try asking if your "HT-DB350" can be flashed with "HT-DB300" firmware (hope there isn't too much difference between the 2 models).

cheers (lo yao (i hope that's right))
