recommend a free program to play iso image files?

i was wondering if anyone knows of a reliable free player that allows me to play the movies i have saved on my hard drive as iso image files. something that would play them as if they were actual dvd's, or at least close to it.

If you use (FREEWARE) DaemonTools to "mount" your .ISO image file, you can use any software DVD player to play it...

Daemon tools creates a virtual dvd drive.
Once installed, it puts an icon in the taskbar.
Right click, select mount image, browse to the .iso
You can now use any dvd software player to play the file, just as if it were a dvd in a dvdrom drive.

how do u play an iso image file using wmp? i've tried it but all i could get to play for one movie was 6min and 50sec w/ no picture. another was going to play the entire movie but w/ no picture. what am i doing wrong? will windvd play files too? i have that installed also. if nothing else works, i'll just give the daemon tools a try.
