apologises if this is been delt with before but it is new to me.

i am trying to burn a movie. in the preview screen everything is fine but when i burn it it squashes the picture. everything functions alright just that the puicture is squashed???? anyone

• Is this a commercial DVD or one you have created from a .avi fie?
• What program are you authoring the DVD in?
• What program are you burning with?

it is an avi, and im running it through windvd

Your WinDVD software cannot generate 16:9 format, only 4:3.
