Philips Dvdr-70 Multi Region Hack

I had been playing a R1 DVD on my R2 Player and had no problems initially, but now the pixilating is so bad it can't be watched. Is it the disc or will i need a code to make it multi-region? And does anybody know one?

welcome to the forums

afaik, there should be no pixelation effects due to region differences.
just sounds like you over compressed your backup, or your media has/is going bad
