I’ve an older CyberMax PowerMax H3 PII-333 with Win98 that has a Toshiba M1102 CD/DVD ROM drive and a Quadrant Cinemaster 98 hardware PCI card as the DVD decoder. Unfortunately, I’ve had to reinstall Win 98 which means that all drivers and interfaces must be reinstalled for this setup in order to play DVDs and I am not sure where to begin.
Are there 2 drivers for the Toshiba DVD player, one for CD and a second for DVD?
There seems to be 2 drivers on the Hardware Driver CD from CyberMax for the Quadrant Cinemaster card, why two?
In what sequence should I install drivers, Quadrant Cinemaster 1st then Toshiba or vise-versa?
Do I need to install the Win 98 DVD Player from the Win98 installation disk after the drivers have been installed or is there a player on the Hardware Driver disk from CyberMax that should be installed?
Are there any other interfaces that need to be established between the hardware decoder and the video and/or sound card?
Based upon my limited knowledge I know that there is a specific sequence to a reinstallation, what I need are detailed instructions on how to go about this, can anyone help or can you direct me to someone who might be able to help? Are there any ex-Cybermax owners or Engineers out there that know what to do?
